Benefits of orange Orange is one of my favorite fruit , I like to eat orange when i am tired on week days , it contains vitamin c and other important vitamins required for our body , mainly the benefits are from vitamin c , its a antioxidant and helps to reduce the toxic effect of toxic free radicals in our body which are responsible for process of aging. Vitamin C and it is very essential for our body. So it is very essential that we consume Vitamin C through one's diet as much as possible. And orange juice is the best source from which one can get vitamin C. Drinking one glass of orange juice can actually keep the doctor away. Drinking just one glass of juice would provide so much of energy that till lunch time actually one need not take anything to eat. Regular usage/intake of it helps reduce the risk of cancer, diabetes, heart disease, blood pressure and also diseases of the eye. It also contains iron and thereby protects one from anemia. During pregnancy regular intake of it during the first 4 weeks makes the baby stronger. Pregnant mothers should daily consume 400 mg of folic acid. And 1 glass of orange juice easily compensates this need. Those above the age of 60 also need regular usage of oranges or orange juice. As this helps in increasing the production of red blood cells. Orange juice is also beneficial to illnesses like cold and flu. It helps the body in fighting against these diseases and also makes one’s body stronger. Eating orange without removing the white covering help to reduce weight and provides fiber required for our body , if eating orange also fulfils the requirements of fibers in our body. |
